Farenheit 451, is it worth reading?

    I’m sure it is worth reading to a degree. But, if you only had two years left for your high school student, would you bother with it??

    I haven’t read it in years and years, but my upcoming junior will be reading it this year. I’m having him red several books in the same vein, including The Giver quartet and 1984. He already read Animal Farm, but I’d include that one too.

    Yes! As a former high school teacher, it is a wonderful read that will generate good discussion. It is good to read it before going to college.
