I am new to SCM, and need this book. However, I am a bit confused. The link from SCM shows what appears to be a ‘companion guide’ to the Greenleaf book. Is this the case? I am probably just not very confident, but am afraid to get the book and find it isn’t the correct one. Or do I also need the original book by Greenleaf press as well as this one?
I may be missing it, but I am new to forums. Does the forum have a way to search a topic, such as this? I am concerned that I also am repeating a question that has been asked.
Let me see if I can clear things up for you. I believe you are referring to the link for The Famous Men of the Middle Ages book found on the list of where to find the books needed for the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Reformation & Epistles history study guide. Is that correct? If so, that link takes you to the actual book you need, not a “companion guide”. Your confusion may be because Greenleaf Press appears to have changed the art on the cover of the book. The “look inside” feature on Amazon.com is for an older edition of the book. The content of the older edition is the same as the book being sold on Amazon.com.
As for searching the forum, there is a Google search box in the right-hand column on each page. It is located under the “Popular Topic Tags” cloud. Oh, and don’t worry about asking a question that may have been asked on the forum before. There are many women here who are happy to help you, even if it is something that has been answered many times. 🙂
Yes, that was what I was referring to. And you are also correct–the one on the Greenleaf press page is the same pic, but I didn’t know they were different books. I had scanned Amazon, and there were various editions there, too, and that further confused me. I am so glad I found this forum to clarify for me–thanks!!
And now I also see the search option–I thought I had thoroughly scoured the page. Oops–mea culpa! LOL!
Again, I really appreciate your response–as well as how quickly you responded!
Blessings!
Heidi
