What are some of your favorite family games?  Our children’s ages are 5. 9. and 19.  It’s hard to find things we can all play.

    Thanks!

A new favorite here is Snorta, even our 2 year old plays, but our 6 & 9 year olds like it as do my husband and I.

We like Battleship (though only 2 players), Bananagrams, Parchesi, Life, Memory, Slapjack, Clue, Hop On Geography, Sorry.

    We love games!

Phase 10 works well with many ages.

WOW, jdgray94, you listed 3 I’ve never even heard of. I’ll have to check them out!Smile

Qwirkle is a great game for multiple ages.  You only need to match colors and shapes to be able to play, but there is a deeper level to matching where you gain the most points.

Rook, Dutch Blitz, Rummikube, LoYo (or Crazy Eights with regular playing cards).  Rook and LoYo work well with little ones b/c they can “play” right along, taking a turn and laying cards just like everyone else.  Their choices just aren’t quite as sophisticated as the older ones, but it’s surprising how quickly they catch on!  Our 9 yo has been playing Rook since she was old enough to lay the cards down for Daddy.  Now the 3yo is starting with LoYo and learning which cards are the best to trade for.  Good family fun!
