Family activities in indiv student report

    I am trying out the CM Planner. I have a question about the Family activities.

    I would think that a completed “family” activity, like reading a chapter of a book under the subject “Literature,” would show up on each individual child’s detailed report under “Literature” in addition to any independent work he did.

    When I run a detailed report for my sons, the family chapter book we are reading is omitted. I am planning to use these report for my School District. It would be so much more convenient if I only had to run one report per child. Or am I just missing something?

    I’m sure Sonya will answer this better than I but if you do something like Lit and put it under family that is where it would show everyday. That’s how mine also is set up, same with history, science etc. Anything we do togheter shows on the family print out not on there indiv. ones.

    Right now Family work shows up on a separate report. So if you need to turn in a report for each student, be sure to include both the Student’s individual work report and the Family work report to get a total picture. It is on my wish-list to make a way for each person to be able to choose whether you want Family activities to be included on each Student’s report or kept as a totally separate report. That feature isn’t available now, but we’re working on it.
