Has anyone ever made these? They look so delightful.

I cannot see the page you linked to, but if it’s what I think it is, we make them quite often. Though they don’t look like ones that you see photographed and put on the internet Smile, we like them. It’s a great way to pass some time wherever we are! Once the children get going, it’s awesome the ideas they come up with. Even the olders get involved because none of us can resist a fairy house!

    Blessings,

Oh, how beautiful!  My first exposure to the idea of fairy houses was watching the movie “Fairy Tale: A True Story,” which I thought was a beautifully done film. The fairy houses made by the children in the film were exquisite…they were my favorite part of the movie!  I would like to try making one one of these days….

Oh my, yes.  That site is so beautiful – and I have always wanted to see the movie and book they have on there.  Now I will have to find the movie Questa referred to as well!

Yes my kids – esp my daughter – make these houses often.  I wish you could see the ones we have up now, they are huge and fully furnished inside – but then the roofs are thatched with some kind of leaves and you can’t see the inside at all anymore.  She doesn’t mind that – she just likes the building of the house… One of them is so big that the cat can get in through the door and it sleeps inside LOL

BTW – I added both of these movies to my dvd queue on netflix!  Can’t wait!  Thanks so much for the post as I would never have thought to search for that fairy house documentary there…It is called Kristin’s Fairy House.

Ohhhh, my.  This is the kind of thing that sends my girls over the moon!  They’ll want to get started straight away!  (So I won’t show them until school’s done today LOL)

Thanks for the link.  Beautiful Smile

PS Reminds me of the TinkerBell movies, which, yes, we watched and liked, although I did NOT like Tink in the original Peter Pan book.  Just sayin’  Wink
