I am planning on using “Exploring the World of Biology” by John Hudson Tiner with my dc10 & 12 next year.

For those who have used this book… Does it matter what order you read the chapters?  For example, if the kids are interested in Insects more than Mushrooms, can we read Chapter 8 before we read Chapter 1? or Do the chapters build on one another, making it important to read them in order?

Also, do you know of any worksheets/notebooking sheets that compliment the Hudson Tiner books?

    TIA

    Blessings, Michelle

This is my plan as well to use with my dd 10.  I’d also like to hear some feedback.

I was wondering the same thing.  I’ve been thinking of adding this to Considering God’s Creation.

We have another book in this series, and there are questions at the end of each chapter…some multiple choice and a couple short answer…Not as exciting as notebook pages.  Exploring God’s Creation does have stand-alone chapters, but I’m wondering if the biology one will be set up differently.

Bumping…  Has anyone used this book to help us out here? 🙂
