Enjoy the poems

    I would like to get 1 enjoy the poems for next year. We have read alot of Stevenson so I dont want to get him. Who would you choose and why for ages 9, 7, 4, 1;) (Mostly 9 and 7)

    Emily Dickinson? Your kids are young and her poetry is generally considered for children. My kids enjoyed Oliver Wendell Holmes, they are sleeping so I cannot give you a why. They even gave him a nickname – Rallager Rainbow Homes – again cannot say why, but it is certainly hard to forget someone you have nicknamed. Every time we did poetry there was much giggling.
