Hi ladies! I don’t know about how you are doing right now but as the beginning of a new school year approaches for my family I find I have to be very careful to keep perspective. As I read and hear of the plans of other families it can often skew my perspective… “maybe we should be doing THAT too”. So I always go back to the basics and remind myself of my guiding educational principles. Here is one quote that has been especially helpful to me this week as I resist complicating things:
“The children should have the joy of living in far lands, in other persons, in other times – a delightful double existence; and this joy they will find, for the most part, in their story-books.” – Charlotte Mason
