Email notification when we have a PM?

    I have been noticing that I’ll have a PM sitting there for a day or two (or more!  Embarassed) before I finally notice it.  Is there a way to turn on email notifications as we receive PMs?  If not, can I put in a request for it?  Laughing

    I always receive an email when I have a PM.  Could it be going to your SPAM box?  Does SCM have your email?

    I just noticed that if I click on my member name at the top of the forum (where it shows that your logged in) it will open a new page and at the top right you can click on edit.  Here is where you can put your name, email, etc.  There is a little box that can be checked that says Do not email for a PM.  Maybe this is checked on yours.

    Aha!  Gmail seems to reset its spam detection stuff every so often.  I had all sorts of things in there!  Grrrr….  Thanks for the suggestion, pangit!

    You can set Gmail to never treat SCM messages as spam. Here’s how:

    1. Click the “Create a Filter” link in Gmail. It should be next to the search box.
    2. In the From field, enter “simplycharlottemason.com”.
    3. Click Next and then choose Never Send it to Spam.
