    would anybody recommend Elsie Dinsmore series?

    is the language rich enough? or are they on a twaddly side, in your opinion?

    Yes, the language is rich. They probably aren’t on par with Charles Dickens and such, but I wouldn’t consider them twaddle. You may find this previous discussion on the series helpful.

    Thank you Sonya for directing me to the previous thread. Somehow i missed it.  It was enlightening, and very helpful in my decision making.
