I’ve purchased quite a bit of the curriculum as eBooks, as well have downloaded all the free eBooks. I recently purchased a Kobo (Borders version of Kindle) and have uploaded the pdf’s of the free eBooks onto it, but the writing is fairly small, so when I enlarge I have to maneuver around the page to read it. I was just wondering if there was a way to download these as EPUB’s to my Kobo for easier reading……
Unfortunately, some of the e-book readers don’t handle PDFs well. If yours allows you to turn the image sideways you may be able to view the text larger that way.

I use a free program called Calibre to convert ebooks to the format I like best. It took me a day or two to really get a hang of the program, but then conversion between formats was simple. I have an older mac, so I use one of the earlier versions of the software, but those with newer computers probably have even more features and options with Calibre than I do. I have a Kindle 3, but it will work for any kind of ebook conversion. There are online instructional videos to help get one started.
I’ve also used Calibre to convert books. I didn’t mention it because PDFs just don’t convert well if they have any complexity to their formatting. For example, many of our SCM books have information in sidebars on the page and it usually gets all jumbled up in a conversion. It will be different with each book so it may be worth a try to see if it’s workable for you.
