Hi ~ I have a 4.5 yr old and have read through the Preschool Guides. I’m wondering where I can find more information on book titles that are good/appropriate for this age in regrads to CM philospohy. Any help or guidance is appreciated!

    Thank you!

I love Simply Charlotte Mason’s “The Early Years: A CM Preschool Handbook” here: http://simplycharlottemason.com/store/early-years-charlotte-mason-preschool-handbook/

They offer several free ebooks with great topics that can apply too, right here: http://simplycharlottemason.com/books/#FreeResources My favorite in that section is probably Smooth and Easy Days

Don’t miss their read aloud suggestions for 3-5 year olds: http://simplycharlottemason.com/planning/preschool-guide/preschool-foundations/favorite-read-aloud-books-for-preschoolers/

Also feel free to ask questions here, the forum is really helpful. Welcome!

In addition to the above, the resource Honey For A Child’s Heart gave me a load of good literature by age group for my children, especially when they were younger. HTH!

You can also search the Bookfinder for “Leisure Reading” and restrict the grades to Pre-1st. That will bring up even more options that aren’t on our Early Years guide, but are also worth checking out.

I like the Five in a Row books…I haven’t used their program in awhile, but we often read books from their booklist.

I also use the Five in a Row booklists.

There is a great picture book resource available that also gives lists of using them to teach history, art, etc. I have really enjoyed it.  The books I have found using it are good. They are still my younger sets favorite books. =)
