Dumb forum question

I can’t see the options for me to format text in my posts – hyperlinks, bold, inserting quotes, etc.

I feel silly. It must be here somewhere!!

What browser are you using?

Generally there is a little toolbar at the top of the textbox with those items…

however, it seems to me I remember hearing that due to some bugs with a particular version of some specific web browser, they needed to turn that feature off when that browser with that version was detected….

I guess the other question is could you ever see it, or have you never been able to see it….

I’ve never been able to see it. I’m on IE 9.

Oh my goodness, I just logged in under Firefox and I see them. Wow! Thanks a lot!!

Unfortunately, IE 9 isn’t compatible with the little visual editor we use for the forum even though older versions of IE are. So if you use IE 9 to visit the form then most of the advanced formatting stuff get turned off.

Hey, I can see them either. That’s a bummer. Hmm might have to look into firefox

I particularly like the Google Chrome. It’s fast, free, and automatically keeps itself updated for security and new features. Firefox is a good one too.
