For those who have used MOTL, what are the bad points? Any drawbacks or things to be aware of before taking the plunge?

    Thanks!

I really don’t see any drawbacks. I guess it is teacher-intensive, but OTOH you know exactly where your child is at in math. No getting through a curriculum and realizing they didn’t understand a concept you thought they did.

Of course, it seems pricey but if you really use it for 8 years or so with multiple children … then all of a sudden it is cheap. We have 6 children who will use it, some from kindergarten on up so it is very cheap for us per year per child.

You can also return it if you don’t like it. I think they have a 30-day trial period. Again, not a drawback, but given the price that is a nice guarantee that you won’t be out a lot of money if it doesn’t work for your family.
