I go to my pm’s. I click on a message. I read the message and click on ‘reply.’ I reply to the message and click on send. I then get an email saying I got a pm from myself. Am I doing something wrong?

I know it’s a bit odd, but it is working normally. The private message system treats a message as a conversation that you subscribe to. Eventually, the software is supposed to add a feature where you can have a private conversation with more than two people.
So what you’re seeing is the system subscribing you to the conversation as the sender. It’s very confusing and I hope the maker of that part of the software will make it a little more intuitive.

FYI, I just updated the private messaging software we use here. Please let me know if you have any new problems with it.
The main difference you should see with this update is that you should no longer see a new message notification when you send a message.
