    I have seen this book (Keeping a Nature Journal by Clare Leslie) recommended on this site but I haven’t seen many people say if they have it, have read it, use ideas from it and/or recommend it. Any feedback?

    We have it.  I’ve skimmed through it and found it helpful, but we haven’t used it as a family.  It is a bit new-age-ish in a few parts, but not overwhelmingly so…you could skim over those parts.  It gives lots of ideas to get you started and what things could be recorded.  It’s interesting to compare with Country Diary since they have such different styles!

    Funny, I just pulled that out yesterday and was reading through it again.  I agree with HollyS it is new-age-ish like so many things nowadays…I do like some of the ideas like a family journal, travel journal, etc.  Probably something you could just check out from the library perhaps or purchase for cheap on ebay or something like that…

    I think I’m going to try to get it through interlibrary loan ($1!). I think I’d like to look at it but don’t expect I’ll want to own it. Thanks for all your thoughts!
