I have a question regarding the American Heritage dictionary. Does it matter whether it is the 4th Edition, which is about $32 on Amazon, or could I purchase the one that is titled American Heritage without the addition of the 4th edition part?? There is a significant difference in price, well $25.00, but $25. is $25., so I was just wondering if there is a huge difference?
I’m not seeing anything on the first three search pages at Amazon that isn’t fourth edition. I think you’d be fairly safe with any of the printings there. They just differ in things like size, cover, whether there is student information included, etc. My edition is, um, older, because I got it for high school graduation, long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away.
Hey, at least you have one from long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away. I don’t even have a good one from not so long ago in a galaxy not so far away:) And that’s pretty bad for my little kiddos:) But I’ll get them one asap…
