Devotional Biology – any users or reviews?

Has anyone used or reviewed Devotional Biology? I just recently ran across it and really like what I see/read, but I’m not a science expert so I don’t know what, if anything, I should be concerned about for my student who might go (though not for certain) into a science field. I had planned to use Apologia Biology but I really, really don’t want to.  Any feedback is appreciated!
