Delightful Reading Kits – ebooks??

    Hi everyone,

    This is my first post, although apparently I’ve been a member of this forum for over 3 years! I hope I’m posting this in the right category.

    I REALLY want to start the Delightful Reading Kit 1 with my son. We’re in Australia, and I’m finding the cost of postage to Australia just prohibitive at this point in time. I sent a message to SCM to see if there are other options, but have yet to hear back.

    I can make my own Alphabet cards, or use the moveable alphabet that we already have. I can download the ebook of “A is for Art” and use other alphabet books. But please please please… why isn’t the Games & Activity Book available as an ebook?

    Really feeling stuck. I’ve spent hours researching phonics introduction, and now I feel back to the drawing board.

    Hi Alissa,

    We do not offer the teachers books separate from the kits because the books reference the kits.  Without the kits, the teacher’s guide makes no sense.

    We have a reading series on YouTube that will walk you through not only the Delightful Reading Kits but how Charlotte taught reading.  You can do this without our kits.  :-).
