    Has anyone used this book?

    My ds10 is struggling with his spelling and is a relunctant writer. I was wondering if this book might be a helpful way to combine a few things…copy work, dictation and introduce/or reinforce spelling words and rules.

    I have not been able to find many reviews about the book, but it looks interesting and I would appreciate any comments/thoughts you may have about it.

    If you look on Amazon it lets you see inside the book.  The only thing I couldn’d see though, is where is the dictation?  The first couple of lessons are look at the sentance, then write it.  Later on it just says write the dictation, listen carefully, but I couldn’t find where the dictation was.  It also seems to really be used with ABC’s and all their tricks, a book on phonics combinations.  There was a small discusion on Well Trained Mind website, but not much actually about this book. http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=236996 

    That was most of what I could find without a site selling the books.  It looks good to me too, but I would definately want to get my hands on a copy or actually know someone who uses it before I got it.
