Even my 6 ft. teenage boy uses a cubby system. He folds short sleeved tees in another. Long sleeve in another. Pjs in another. The bins are used for socks, undies, one for misc. items we usually put in a top dresser drawer. Nicer shirts and pants are hung. It works great.

Also, if too much is there and it seems crammed, that is the signal that there is just too much on one particular item and it is time to purge a bit. If they are very little and the clothes are small you could put them in bins, but adult and youth pants probably wouldn’t fit in the bins.

Ok so for bigger people clothes you are folding and attacking them in one cubby, like you might see at some stores, right?

One interesting thing to come of that would be to note the use of clothes… if you always put your freshly washed clothes on the bottom of the pile, it would be pretty obvious if you kept avoiding a few shirts on the top of the stack. Then you could just get rid of them. I like that! I’ve done the backward hangar thing to note if I’ve avoided certain clothes, but I like the cubby idea.
