cursive and copywork

    My kids are in 4th and 6th grade, we have been doing both cursive and copywork (script).

    I am just wondering if at one point we could just do all the copy work in cursive, combining both. They are both doing pretty good w/cursive.

    Once my dd completed her cursive instruction workbook and knew how to form all the letters, I transitioned her to doing her copywork in cursive. We only did both (cursive instruction and print copywork) for the 6 months or so that we were working through the cursive workbook.

    I just switched my DD (age 10) to copywork in cursive and she’s doing fine.  I did lower how much I expect her to copy at the start, but she’s back up to a short to medium paragraph in one sitting.
