Crochet video – help from someone who owns it.

    I bought this as a Christmas present for my sister and need to know what to buy to go along with it…  What crochet yarn?  What size hooks?  I’d like to get her enough to complete a project or two.  Thanks!

    This is from the booklet inside:

    • Plastic or metal crochet hook, size H (size 5)

    • Plastic or metal crochet hook, size J (size 6)

    • Scissors

    • Large Darning Needle (optional, but recommended)

    Cotton yarn, one ball of worsted weight, 150 yards (pot holder project)

    Acrylic yarn, worsted weight, in your choice of color (lighter color better for practice)

    • 2 balls approximately 170 yards each for scarf and hat project

    • 1 ball approcimately 812 yards for blanket (one pound of yarn)

    • Optional 3rd ball of 170 yards for practice or use yarn from above projects.

    Safety pins for session 6

    Polyester filling for session 7
