Does anyone here use Critical thinking? If so what do you use and what did/didn’t you like about it ???

                            Thanks!

Yes! I used Visual Perceptual Skill Building Bk. 1 for my dd when my dd was younger and Thinker Doodles Beginning. My son used Can you Find Me? Pre-K-1 when he was age 6.

The Building Thinking SKills Vol. 1 they used and liked; we are now are BTS Vol. 2.

We are starting MindBenders Cd-Rom A1/A2 this year and my dd is using Word Roots A1 bokpo and CD-Rom.

I want to use Riddle Spiders, among other things, and am considering the BLoom’s TAxonomy Writer.

We use Word Roots CD-Roms and really like them. One son has finished A1 and will use A2 and probably B1 as well this year. Another son is working on A1 this year.

The CD-Roms work well for me b/c our other stuff is not on cd-rom. This is extra for us, so this works. Also, whether you buy the books or cd-roms, i love that they allow copying and use by multiple family members.

    Thanks!

They seemed like a good price for what you get. I just wasn’t sure if it was any good (even though it received good reveiws. LOL…   I was doing “English from the Roots UP”  but I think we are having some memory loss on this one. 🙂 I think we will try the Roots CD-Rom.

Rachel-  My daughter is 6 and I was wondering about that “Can you Find Me” . But isn’t that like Eye Spy?

I think I will do some of their CD’s and see how they like them.

Thanks a lot!   Sorry I didn’t get back yesterday we were building a chicken tractor and then went and cut and moved firewood. I won’t be around later on either.   But thanks for the insite!

I think 6 is too old for “Can you Find me”, but if she/he is artistic, then he/she would like the Thinker Doodles.

Oh, I forgot, we also used the Dooriddles, which my dd had great fun with and it was good way to jump-start the brain.

Of course, I despise riddles and very rarely got one correct…
