    Sonya,
You mentioned in another recent thread that Module 6 history credits would be 1/2 credit American History and 1/2 credit World History. Could another option be to just award 1 credit for Modern History? I would think that would work as well since you are covering modern history for both American and World. This would also work well for those who may come to Module 6 already having covered a credit in American History and a credit in World History.

Yes, that should work if you don’t need to itemize out the American History separately.

    That’s what I was thinking. 🙂 Thanks!

I was just thinking, if you choose to just award 1 credit for Modern History, would that credit just be for the high school scheduled books OR would it need to include the family study history books as well?

Without the Family readings, the high school students would still be reading about 1800 pages of American History and about 1100 pages of World History and writing narrations on those. (That’s if they read all the history books suggested for grades 10-12.)
