I’ve been thinking about this over the last few weeks, how it is often easier to learn to teach a system as opposed to a method. (Charlotte said so herself, at the beginning of Vol 1, which is what got me thinking about it). Since CM educating is a method and not a system, I’m curious about your experience as a teacher:

When did you begin to feel comfortable and confident as a CM teacher?

Was is the more you understood the method or the more time and experience you had teaching? Or both?

Studying CM educating has given me “head knowledge” of how it might be.  Practicing various aspects has given me the confidence and reason to continue.

When I feel out of sorts with what we are doing, I try to evaluate whether, or not we are off track with our CM efforts, or if it’s just the fact that we are comfortable with all we are doing and need to add in a new aspect to give us more of a challenge.

I’ve also found that if I try to narrow things down to a system, getting off track really throws me for a loop.  Remembering to appreciate the methods allows for more natural flow to our learning.

I’m hoping this makes sense.  I’m not sure I worded it well.
