Composer to study with van Eyck

Looking for ideas of a good composer to listen to while we study van Eyck. My children are all preschool age. I have this weird thing where I like there to be some sort of connection. We have just started studying Monet and will be listening to Tchaikovsky because they were both born in 1840! There’s my connection. I’m doubting there were a lot of composers in the 1300-1400s. Any thoughts, please let me know. Thanks!!
