Combining Story of the World vol2 with Simply Charlotte Mason?

Hi Everyone!  We are going to be adding Simply Charlotte Mason Middle Ages, Renaissance, Reformation and Epistles to our Story of the World vol2 this year.  Does anyone have a weekly assignment sheet that they have used combining these two that they would like to share?  I thought it would be easy to combine the two, but (for example), SOW vol 2 doesn’t touch on Vikings until Chapter 14 where Simply Charlotte Mason starts Viking books in week 2?  Any advice or insight??  Anyone else use both books??
