I thought I would start posting books that I find (at the library), for others in Colorado.  Please share if you have something you really like or recommend.  Some of these may not be true living books as I’m struggling to find, but this is my start.

Homesteading Women – The oral histroy of Colorado 1890-1950 Julie Jones-Eddy

Little Britches: Father and I Were Ranchers by Ralph Moody – There are several of these.

C Is for Centennial: A Colorado Alphabet

Tales, Trails, and Tommyknockers: Stories from Colorado’s Past

Biographies – Francisco Vasquez de Coronado

Thanks for posting these! We are just starting to teach history (my kids are young), but this will be a great resource as we continue. I’ll post any good ones I find too.

We have Seth of Colorado (on our Heritage History collection, but have not read it yet)

I would like to find some good ones to add to the growing book collection 🙂
