Hi There,
This year we are using Covenant Home Curriculum and we are enjoying it, but I think I would like to go back to our own eclectic homeschooling next year. What makes CHC so wonderful is their Day by Day planner that has the whole week in view for the student to know exactly what they are to do each day and to enable them to work independently. Here is a sample of the 9th grade: http://www.covenanthome.com/daybydays09.htm Is there a way to use CMO to come up with a similar schedule? The beauty of this curriculum is this planner and their worldview, but there are several book choices I would like to switch out which would really defeat the simplicity of this curriculum. If I knew I could come up with something similar with the CMO, I might just venture to plan our next year with it. Thanks for any help!

I believe I requested the same thing a few months ago. I’m not sure whether it has been done yet or not as I have not started putting my plan on it yet this year…there have been several features added lately. Doug?

Some sort of weekly view is definitely something we want to do but we haven’t scheduled that feature yet. We have at least a few other things in the queue that need to come first.

Hi Doug,
It’s been a while since I’ve looked at the CMO but I’m definitely considering it for next year so that we can get back to using living books again.
If I wanted to print out what the children need to do each day (with the details), would you do that with the daily view? I am trying to get away from having to go to the computer so often. If there was a way to print the weekly view and then at the end of the week, I can check off what actually got done (rather than having to do it daily) that would be great for me. Thank you for continuing to work on this. I think the CMO is amazing!

Right now you can view today and tomorrow. The reason we don’t show more than that is because we don’t know what pace you will use for your various resources. For example, you might use one chapter a day for a particular resource and three chapters a day for another, etc. We have some ideas how to do a reasonable compromise view but it is a bit tricky.
