We have a new report option for you today! You should see a new “Sort by” popup menu on the Detailed report settings. Choosing “Subject” will give you the old style reports. If you pick “Date”, you’ll see the Daily Journal report, which looks like this:
This report should be nice for those of you who need a report of daily work completed, rather than just a report ordered by subject.
Also, we’ve tweaked the Weekly Overview chart so that it will update with your selected sidebar filters. No more reloading the page.
Is it possible to tweak the weekly overlook to not print when it is collapsed? I was thinking of printing from the daily tab to give each child a checklist of individual work, but I can’t get the weekly overview not to print and it takes up half the page. Just thought if it is collapsed it shouldn’t print like the other resources do not when collapsed.
I appreciate all the hard work though…love the CMO!!
Okay, it looks like there’s a bug with the printout. If you select the “All Students” sidebar filter and collapse the overview chart, it won’t print. (Actually, it prints a couple pieces of it, but we’ll get that fixed, too.) If you have any other filter selected instead, the chart will print when it’s collapsed.
I’m on my way to report this to our programmer so we can get it taken care of. Thanks for letting us know about it!
For some reason, my reports look the same as always. I logged out and logged back in, hoping to reset something, but it’s all still the same. Am I doing something wrong?
LindseyD, are you looking at the Detailed or Summary reports? The new report style is for Detailed reports only at this point (let us know if it would be useful on the Summary report as well), and you’ll need to select the option to sort by date.
Jordan, that’s exactly what I’m doing. I’m selecting “Detailed Report”, then doing a search for “Last Week”. My report looks exactly the same as it did before.
I just checked your account and I can get the new report to run. Just checking to make sure: The new report is a different way of sorting it. Here’s a screenshot highlighting what you need to do to run the new-style report:
