It would be so cool if, when you hit expanded view on Friday and the the week’s days pop out next to the assignment, it would show you what days had been completed. That way you’d catch any “holes” in your week and be able to tuck those lessons in before the week’s end. Thereby keeping you on tract!
If there is already a way to see this, would someone let me know? Thanks a bunch.
That’s an interesting idea. The CMO already marks the days you have the resource scheduled on that week pop-out (those are the green days). But you’re looking for a way to see what days you completed previous lessons?
What if it was an indicator next to the resource title but not on the week pop-out? That might be easier to understand at a glance than one more indicator on the pop-out.
Great idea – but I have more than one resource in several subjects. So if it flags ‘science’ for Friday, I won’t know if we missed BFSU or Story of Inventions. But that has the potential to be very helpful.
I’m wondering about something like the little week display next to each resource on the Scheduler, but adding it to the Daily Plan next to each resource title to indicate either the days you have the resource scheduled or the days you’ve worked on the resource this week.
Something like this (I just pasted this together with an image editor, so this shouldn’t be taken to mean we have this feature in the works. ):
Does this mean we completed it on M, W, and H? If so, something like that would work. It seems like it would be easier if the pop out menu next to Today just showed what was marked already instead of showing nothing. Just an idea of something that might not take as much design.
Today I was unsure of what we’d missed this week in our schedule. This is a common problem for us, since we tend to take advantage of all sorts of fun learning that comes up! So I had to run a report of all finished work for the week, child by child, and then use my own weekly sheet (actually just an image of the CMO weekly schedule image) and mark off what we’d done and what we needed to do to finish out our week. What a pain!
This goes back to the whole way in which you can’t click on a date and see what’s been done or add/modify things on any date on the calendar at any point. That flexibility is much needed.

I’m not sure how we’d mark it on the pop-out menu. If you look at the screenshot below of a resource in the Daily Plan, you’ll see that I’ve marked off work for this assignment already. If there was also an indicator for which other days I’d completed past assignments, I think it’d end up being confusing about which days are marked for this assignment and which ones are for past assignments.

This doesn’t help with marking it all off on the weekly sheet, but have you tried running that report for everyone, sorted by student? That report would get you the same data with one click.

Absolutely! We know that you need to be able to modify your records, and we are working on some ideas to make that possible.
