is there a way after entering the year’s resources to see the big picture? for instance, our school year doesn’t officially start until august 23rd. but i’d like to see how they scheduled the resources i’ve put in–did they divide each module in high school apologia into 2 weeks like i usually did? is there wiggle room at the end of the year? if they haven’t asked for an end date, how do they know how much to schedule each day?  i was hoping to print off each week’s schedule for the year and put it into each of my kid’s notebooks so it’s portable as we travel or my work schedule changes.

    is this an option?

    thanks.

The Organizer works on a little different premise; it focuses on “What’s next” rather than due dates, so you can go at the pace you need to and adjust easily as you go along. The resources you entered will show up on the Daily Plan on their Start Date. How long they stay on the plan depends on when you check them off as Finished. So for example, with Apologia, you can check off Module 1 as Worked On each day your child works on it and Finished on whatever day it is finished. At that point, the next module will roll into place. If one particular module is easier and gets done before the two weeks you had estimated, you can simply move on without worrying about the date.

Since the Organizer adjusts according to what you get done each day, it doesn’t print out a full week’s worth (or year’s worth) of daily plans. You will be able to access tomorrow’s daily plan after you check off today’s work.

Does that help answer your question?
