Hi guys, I know you all are busy and I am so blessed by all you do. Just wanted to put in a request for a report in the Organizer. I would love to be able to see all of the artists we have studied for all time. When planning my year I forget who we have studied and who we have not. Same for composer, hymns, literature. I would love to be able to run a report that would tell me all of the resources I have ever used under a particular category. Maybe that is too wide a range to try to search and report on. But if it is possible, it would be amazing. Thanks for considering.
That would be useful! You could run a summary report for just one subject for the past year, or use the custom date range to look at any previous year. That would still have each lesson marked off, but it would be somewhat condensed. Or if you’re a subscriber you could do a Bibliography report, which will show you every resource you used in a school year, sorted by subject.
We have to limit reports to just one year right now because of problems with larger reports crashing the CM Organizer server—we didn’t think anyone wanted that to happen. 🙂 We do have some ideas on our wishlist to improve the reports system so it can do larger reports, but we don’t have any release date for those.
