CM Organizer

    I was hoping to talk to others who use the organizer that SCM offers.

    It seems like a very helpful tool but I have just one question.

    Can you print out the schedules? I like to have some things on paper in my folder.

    Yes, you can print each day’s schedule, but not until the day of or the night before?  I never do it until the morning of.  But yes, you can print them if you like.   You will kill a lot of trees, though, if you have many children.  I finally just put it up to leave on a computer and I print out reports (a lot less paper!) for my notebooks.

    Bookworm – have you tried printing out with each resource fully expanded – it prints out that day, plus shows FOUR upcoming assignments – ONE WEEK worth!  If you’re doing a chapter a day or a lesson a day or if you realize this soon enough to enter your resource properly for a days worth of work as the division for the resource.  Suzukimom?  I think – pointed it out to me!

    Yes – it used to only show 3 extra – but I put in a request to change it to 4… so now it shows a weeks worth if you use the resource each day…  It lets me print a weekly to-do-list instead of a daily one….

    I do the same as bookworm and just print out the reports once a month to save a record of our work. (edited to add – I don’t actually print them off anymore – I save them as a pdf file on the computer…) I don’t print the schedules out ahead of time. I just pull it up on the computer in the morning to remind me of what is scheduled for the day and where we left off last time 🙂

    This year, I will probably have my oldest ds pull his up on his computer to do the assignments and have him check them off as he completes them.  My other two are not quite ready for that responsibility so I’ll either print out the daily check lists or the whole week, we’ll see.

    I have been absent from the CMO for awhile and can’t wait to use it again this coming year!
