    I’m getting ready to start my first year of homeschooling with my dd10 & ds 8 this fall.  Very excited to have found the Charlotte Mason method! Just ordered the seminar and planning your homeschool dvd’s and looking forward to getting started.  Wondering if there’s anyone in northwest IN (or southwest suburbs of Chicago area) who’s interested in meeting occasionally to do some group activities.  Thanks!

    Welcome to SCM!  Sorry, we don’t live close to you.  Have you searched for a local homeschool group?

    Hi pbjmom!  I am in IL but about 2.5 – 3 hrs south and west of you.  During my search for a CM group a few years back, I discovered that there are some in the Chicago area. If you do a bit of searching both on Google/etc. &/or FB, you will likely find what you are looking for.

    FWIW, I started a group in my area when I found that there really wasn’t a group local to me.  You could always go that route.  You don’t have to be an expert, you just need to find others who would be interested that are in your area. 🙂
