CM group near Lebanon, TN

    I am just in the initial phases of implementing CM curriculum.  I am new to homeschooling; just began with kindergarten this year and am changing horses midstream as far as curriculum.  Are there any CM support groups in the middle Tennessee area?  I live about 30 minutes east of Nashville.

    I’m happy to say that you are in a CM “hot spot,” Zelena! If you visit the Mid-East Tennessee Home Education Association website, you’ll find information about a CM support group (under the Support Groups link). Contact Lisa as explained there, or get in touch with Kim Bohannon who coordinates the group. I spent time with both of them last weekend, and you will find in them some wonderful CM mentors! Enjoy!

    Thank you, Sonya!  What an answered prayer!  I am so excited to be starting this journey with my son.  I have shown him the materials (Delightful Reading, Math U See) that I will be ordering in the next few minutes and he is actually excited again.  We have both been bored with his curriculum and I was becoming very frustrated.  Finding your website was like a breath of fresh air!  Many blessings!  Zelena
