Ok… I’ve got ANOTHER “Do you know anything about this?” question… Sorry. :-0
I like what I’m reading about the Classical Kids CDs. A single cd (you can get the volumes) has a dramatized story of a composer. Their music is streamed throughout the cd to get the child familiar with some of the most famous works of the composer. The stories are all based on historical fact. The Bach cd has 2 dozen of his “best-loved” pieces. Sooo… I, of course, am wondering if anyone here has heard them before?
I think something like this would be a great fit for us, as we love audio stories. Hank the Cowdog, any of the Focus on the Family Radio Theatre recordings, Adventures in Odyssey, Jungle Jam, The Pond, XM Radio Classics (the house gets reeeal quiet during a Johnny Dollar Marathon), Down Gilead Lane… If you walk in our home at almost any given time you’ll hear one of these playing. We love music too… And I’m rambling… So sorry…
I love these, and owned about 6 of them (but they got stolen from the car one day.) Note that not all of the stories are fact based though…. But the music is fantastic, and the story makes it more interesting.
