Chromebook opinions

    Has anyone seen the new Chromebook $250 laptop from Google?  Any opinions on it? 

    We’re needing a new something for my girls.  They primarily use the computer for  typing instructor, MUS drills and Sheppard software – I’m not concerned about having the same portability or aps of the ipad – so thinking something simple like this, might meet our needs.

    I don’t have any experience with the Chromebook, but I can say we purchased an Acer Aspire One netbook from Walmart a couple of years ago for around $200 and it works great for our needs!  We have a desktop computer, but the netbook is very portable and the kids use it just fine!
