I have a somewhat complicated situation.  We are moving overseas, and can only take minimal books with us and will not have access to a library.  I also may not be able to print pictures from the internet for our picture study, so I will need to take some books with us.  So, I’m hoping to kill 2 birds with 1 stone and choose a licing book for a biography that I can also use for the portrait study.  Does that make sense?  In looking at the Audubon books I was wondering if these 2 books would include a picture or 2 that would also be sufficent for picture study as well as biography:

Audubon: Painter of Birds in the Wild Frontier

Into the Woods: John James Audubon Lives His Dream

I’m sure as I go through the different artists I will have more questions, so I’ll just tag them on here if that is ok with you all.  Thank you in advance!

For Monet what about Linnea in Monet’s Garden?  Does this contain photographs that could be used for picture study?

For Mary Cassatt what about Suzette and the Puppy?

Linnea in Monet’s Garden has very pretty illustrations, but I would not count that as a replacement for his paintings.  What about Katie meets series by James Mayhew?  There is also a Smart about Art Series, Mary Cassatt by Jane O Connor, I think this series is the best for us.
