children's book about being behind the "Iron Curtain"

Though I wouldn’t classify this as a living book, I thought I would pass it along since there aren’t alot of books for children(ages 8+) from this perspective; especially an autobiographical one. I haven’t read it, yet, but put it on my wish list.
