I’ve been doing a lot of reading and studying on Charlotte Mason.  A lot.  I’ve found the following website very helpful:

Are there others that I’ve missed?

Pianogirl363, I love your series on Education in Our Home.  I printed it and added it to the SCM posts that I printed.  Thank you!  I’m reading, and one of these days I will actually comment on your posts.  Smile

    Thank you, Jenny! 🙂

I’m so glad that my series on education has been helpful to you. I’m wrapping up the series tomorrow (6/27) with a wonderful giveaway. I hope that you will make it over to my blog to add your name to the hat!

Thank you, Robin for the link to Nancy Kelly’s blog. I have never heard of it before and after reading a few posts there, I KNOW that I’m going to love it! It looks like such a wealth of inspiration (and information)!

Nancy Kelly is a regular speaker at the Charlotte Mason Institute each year and she holds her own Living Education Retreat (which Christie has attended, btw, and which I REALLY want to go to.) Nancy did a session on Imagination this year which blew me away.

I’ve been to the LER, too (this will be my 3rd year).  LOVE Nancy’s blog and her talks in person!  🙂

Maybe we need to round up a bunch of us and fill up the place next year. It’s full for this year.

Ah…that would be so fun to go to! It’s my kind of a getaway! (Yes, I’m a nerd.)

My giveaway for the book “Educating the WholeHearted Child” started today on my blog. It only goes through July 1st, so if you’re interested, please hop over there and enter soon! 🙂

I feel the need to clarify my last comment – I’m not calling anyone else a “nerd” who goes to Charlotte Mason events – I’m just laughing at myself because I’d actually rather go to one of those than to a beach getaway or some other exotic place, LOL! Most of my friends would call that crazy. 🙂
