I am tentatively putting together some ideas for a monthly or every-other-month Western Washington Charlotte Mason homeschool meeting/teaching/support group. Anyone out there interested in attending? This is still in the planning stages but I’ll be sure to let folks know when it’s firmed up and we have dates, times, locations, etc. Might be starting as early as mid-Sept 2014! Will definitely be held somewhere in the Seattle/Tacoma area.

We’re moving to Orcas Island and have just started our CM journey! Our kids are 4 1/2 and 2. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you!

Julie, I can’t believe there was another CM mom so close to me. We had to move from Bellingham this last fall, and I miss it everyday. Seeing your post didn’t help. I never found a CM support group in the 8 years that we were there. I hope you find one there. Maybe someday the Lord will have us return, and we will start our own. 🙂

Not sure if any group came out of the conversation above that took place more than two years ago, but I am VERY interested in finding a CM support group in the Kirkland, Bellvue, Redmond Washington area! Any further information that anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Julie! I live out in the county between Lynden and Bellingham. I know a couple other CM moms in Whatcom county, but haven’t heard of a CM group. How old are your children? I have a 7-year-old boy.

Hi, I’m new here. Just saw this post. Although it was started awhile ago, I thought I’d try to connect in case a group ever did start or if anyone is still interested in starting something? I’m in North Bend, so Redmond/Bellevue/Kirkland, etc. aren’t too far of a drive.

So sorry I didn’t come back and check these postings sooner! I have 2 boys age 12 and 12. I’m a single mom and work full time out of the home 4 days a week and at home 1 day a week. It’s tough but we manage, though I don’t feel we do as well as we did before I worked out of the home. I would still love to connect with those of you that live close by. Julieanne1980@gmail.com
