    This sounds soooo interesting. An entire retreat all about CM methods. I have only been implementing CM style for about 2 years and still have much to learn – yes, for those of you who are attending this – PLEASE share. 🙂

    Just an fyi, that if you’re near Jacksonville, FL, my co-op is hosting Sonya Shafer and the SCM team for a seminar Aug 2-3, 2013 for Preschool through Highschool the CM Way.

    I was surprised to see so many board members with Waldorf credentials. I don’t recall seeing many, if any, from CM schools. Recognized authors that are favorites within the Montessori community. I am viewing the various site pages by phone (still! 🙁 ), so I haven’t gotten to the actual conference lineup.

    Seriously, I think no one in the pacific nw teaching using CM – ugg! I want Sonya to come here soooo bad. I’ve emailed all the local homeschool conventions and get the “oh great, we’ll check into it” email. I’m not sure why, but I guess for now, DVD teachings will have to suffice. So envious of all these great homeschool conventions in the south. End of pouting! lol 😉

    Melissa, Out your way is Barbara McCoy of Harmony Art Mom and Handbook of Nature Study blog fame. Also, I believe that Catherine Levison and Penny Gardner are either in the midwest or west. Maybe one of those ladies could put something on out that way. Or, do what I’ve done several times – host an SCM dvd seminar. Everyone buys the notebook and we do it together on my couch!
