    I am trying to decide if I need anything additional for character training for next year for my daughter who will be in 2nd grade. We will be doing the SCM Module 1 along with the study guide, we have a family devotion time every day using The 24 Family Ways, they also have night time devotions before bed. Do any of you think I need addiotional resources for character training. I know The 24 Family Ways has a specific character quality we talk about each week. What do you think?

    That sounds good to me.  You will know also as you go along if you could be adding anything by the way she is responding.  But I wouldn’t go out and get anything cause it sounds like you have it covered.

    You could always add Lamp Lighter books for fun! They portray excellent character traits, are so rich and enjoyable!

    We just started this as well…we’ve had some pretty good discussions with it.  I really like it!  We also have The Book of Virtues that we will most likely start next.
