Are there books that a parent could read that would light the path toward the man/woman we are aiming to raise? As in… Are there living books a parent could read that would encourage her and show her in a vibrant way what type of young man or young woman she’d like to raise? Does that make sense? I love having a vision in front of me.

    Thanks!

We like the Millers books for read-alouds: Prudence with the Millers, Wisdom and the Millers, etc.

For my own reading, I like Queen of the Home and Stepping Heavenward.

We like the Millers books too!  Each chapter is not that long.  We are reading Wisdom and the Millers as our family story.  I think there is not much places sell them but you could try Rainbow resources.
