    So I am putting together a character progam to work on next year.  Taking 1 trait a month.  Hoping we’ll actually accomplish something.  I might even start sooner if I get my ducks in a row.

    So my question is this.  What type of materials have you found at the library or online.  I can not buy anything I need to save that money for math and such.  So the items need to be free to cheap/used.

    I have a website that I got the traits from http://www.characterjournal.com it has : bible verses related to the trait, hymns, bible stories, definitions, and project ideas.  I would love to have some books to read along with these each day or weekly.  Can you direct me to some books about character?  Or people who have displayed character well.  I am just starting at the top of the list and working my way down.  So humility, obedience, gratefulness, & attentiveness are the 1st 4.

    Thanks for anything you can think of.  Also, this is a nice site and easy to use.  Maybe someone else will find it helpful. Misty

    I started this year with lapbooks (still simple ones being our first year using them at all) and homeschool share has all kinds of free printable ones as well as lapbooks for tons of subjects and books.  My kids are really enjoying using them with our study and did I mention they are free?!  Check it out at http://www.homeschoolshare.com/character_lapbook.php
