Oh your post is lovely. We had 3 different celebrations so I posted 3 times about Christmas. They are the last 3 posts and don’t miss my littlest guy’s photo of looking at the lights. I really love it. I am going to get a bigger photo of it printed. Anyway, here is my blog. http://www.dwellinginunity.blogpost.com
Well, I haven’t posted about our actual Christmas day, but I did post about some of the new things we were doing this year. I LOVED it and will definitely do it all next year! Our Christmas was calm and peaceful. While we did the gifts and things, we still found time to do some service things for a couple of widows for church. I am grateful that we did, one of them passed away on Thursday. What a sweet blessing to have been a happy part of her last few days. Here is the post I wrote:
I did get a special baby to wrap and place in the manger (box) on Christmas Eve while we read the Christmas story with our family and friends that had gathered for a special dinner. It was fun – the kids always want to dress up as Mary (we have 4 girls, so often end up with 4 Mary’s =} ) – but having that new “special” baby was a great reminder. The girls wanted to hold the new baby wrapped in the white sawddling, but because it wasn’t one of their dolls they were so cute and sweet with it. Next year, I am having dh make a special wooden manger for it and we will place it under the tree out in the front to help us remember our Savior’s gift to us as we are doing our Advent countdown.
One of my favorite highlights was this short video that I listened to over and over. lol It’s lovely!
