It sure would be nice to have all of my homeschool records in one place. Can we add a place to record field trips or is there already a way to do it? Thanks!
Hi Robin,If you are talking about the CM organizer this is what I do. If we are going on a field trip on a Tuesday I just enter it in the organizer as something we will do every Tuesday. Then I click it twice and mark it as finished. That way it is in the schedule and will show up in the reports of what we have done that month. Hope that makes sense?? Wendy

Wendy, that is a great idea and I can see how it will work, but what subject do you pick?
I don’t want to have to file it under History or Personal Development, etc, I want to file it under field trips. In our state we have to keep a field trip log as part of our state requirements for homeschooling so it would be really convenient if we could add that in as a subject option.
One of the reasons we don’t have every possible subject available is that the list would become too combersome to choose your subject. We plan to eventually allow you to add your own custom subject but we don’t have that capability right now.
My suggestion would be to use the Personal Development subject, create a resource titled Field Trips, and then enter notes telling where you went. You can reschedule that resource anytime you need it.
To easily find and summarize the field trips you can use either the summary or detail report and limit it to only the Personal Development subject.
