    Dd is an avid listener of Audio Books. She goes through a lot of them. She just told me she needs some more. She is 14. We are using Sonlight this year so we are getting lots of living books in. I am looking for something for her to listen to in her free time. Her preferred genera are fantasy, adventure, or sci-fi.

    Gordon Korman is the author of some of the 39 Clues books and many others. Are his books appropriate for a 14year old? I am tired of getting her books only to listen to them later and think that they were inappropriate.

    I never heard of those books, but my dc are younger. I’d stick with the classics and you might check Ambleside’s list. The LibriVox recordings for Ambleside are listed here:
